Tuesday’s Talent

Good morning! It’s Melissa here again with you this Tuesday!  I’m so happy to be back with you again, and I’m super excited to share my latest creation.  This week I decided to focus on using a cut file from Speigelmom Scraps, they’re all free and you can find them here.  I specifically wanted one that would work for a baby layout, and if you’ve been following me on Instagram or YouTube you’ll know that my youngest Ava (15 months) needs more pages created about her!

I love using stars on baby layouts, and the “Oh My Stars” cut file was perfect.  I cut it on white cardstock on my Silhouette Cameo, spattered my background with Heidi Swapp Colourshine in Rose, Hot Pink and Gold, and then glued the cut file on top.  Next I pulled out what is left of my “Cute Girl” products by Crate Paper (which I may have been hoarding), and set about creating.

I used the “Hello Colourful You” sequin mix, and randomly placed sequins on the points of the stars, and places where the lines of the stars joined.  I think it adds some fun whimsy to my page!

I just love the different types of sequins that Jody includes in her mixes, and I think that’s what makes playing with them such a delight!!  This mix worked so well with Cute Girl.
