Sequin Backed Cut File

Hello Sparkly Friends! I’m here with you today sharing a layout using just about an entire pack of gorgeous sequins! Carnation Bouquet was love at first site, and I am actually a little sad I used them all. I backed this fun cut file with them, and I love it. But than again, I love everything sequins!

This was a very easy project. I centered my cut file on my background, using a pencil to trace the inside of the hearts I wanted to back with the sequins. Using liquid glue, and a jewel pick, glued each sequin down cover the entire inside and slightly more, of the heart. When the cut file is placed on top, it should fit beautifully.

I didn’t like the white on white, so I pulled out some oxide inks, and colored the cutfiles with some pinks, a coral, and an orange that matched the patterned paper and ephemera I choose. Using wet glue, I adhered the cut file over the sequins. Matted my photo, added embellishments, and just like that we have an adorable, sparkle filled layout. Leave your projects in the Facebook groups and tag me, I’d love to see them!

Happy Scrapping!
