Good Start | Using the Ferngully Sequin Mix

Hey fellow crafters, Sparkler Nicole here with a sparkly pocket page using the Ferngully Sequin Mix available in the January Preorder!

The first thing that I did was paper piece my page together with paper from the January Hip Kit Club and my photos. I’m documenting our New Year’s Day. It was quite funny because I had bought some really fancy sparkling juices from World Market, but when it came to midnight we could not get them open. We wound up drinking some Sprite instead. These pictures are from the next day on the 1st where we finally got those juices open and had a proper celebration!

After paper piecing, I went through the ephemera of my kit and pulled out all those pieces that could go with the New Year. I also added some splatters of white and a black from Lindy’s.

To add the finishing touch I journaled and added my Ferngully Sequins which I thought went perfectly.
