Tuesday’s Talent
Hello!! It’s Melissa here again. Today is my last day as your Guest Designer, and I must say I’ve had a blast creating with Jody’s gorgeous sequin mixes. So as its my last day, I thought I’d use the opportunity to do something rare and create a layout about myself!! I used my August 2016 Hip Kit, which features Maggie Holmes’ “Carousel” collection. My other layouts have featured sequins in a big way, but for this layout I wanted to show you how you can use them more subtly, as an alternative to enamel dots. I used the “Sparkle Ever After” sequin mix, and I especially love the black sequins with white polka dots.
This layout is my word for the year, and I know it’s nearly April, but hey at least I’ve finally got it done!!
I did the packaging technique with my watercolours, and then added some spatters.
The sequins were the perfect final embellishment touch!!
