Today by Evi

Hello scrapbook friends! Welcome to the Spiegelmom Scraps blog for today inspiration layout.  I was able to incorporate a few great products from the shop in this layout including some Shimmerz mists, a gold dollie, and A Mermaid’s Tale sequin pack.  The colors in the sequins played off the colors in my great photo of my mother and I during Thanksgiving.

I started with a beautiful cut file that has multiple 3D flowers on it.  I backed it with a bright blue colored card stock.  The blue leaves pop against my photo.  The painting in the photo my mom and I created to replicate on from Z Gallery.  Its has rich blue colors as well.

I then took Jeni B Bleu Shimmerz mist and splattered the ink on some of the flowers along with Gold Color Shine.

I then used a print and cut file from Wilna, that was sitting on my desk.  I layered the pieces over a gold dollie.  The florals in this die cut were a great contrast to the blue and white base i was working with.  I then used ephemera from Open Book by Maggie Holmes to fill in some the space.  I also added a few chip board elements from the Confetti line by Maggie Holmes as well.

My title was from a phrase thicker pack in my stash along with the two thin blue ribbons I used in opposing corners.  Added more detail to the layout with the addition of purple and blue sequins from The Mermaid’s Tale pack.  Those details finished off my layout.  If you would like to make a purchase at the shop remember to use Evi15 for a discount at checkout.  Thank you for joining me.
