Sketchin’ with Megan

Hello SMS fans!! This is Megan and I am back today with another sketch made by Sara for this weeks team up with :et’s Get Sketchy. I had a lot of fun with this sketch. I tried to play outside the box a little bit and took an idea I saw from my fellow design team member, Laura. I loved how she used the sequins to make little boxes to mimic the sketch so I took that idea and made it my own along with the sketch.

This is the sketch that Sara made and below is my take on it:

I had these 3 cute photos of 2 of my boys when they were younger and we were playing a video game together.

I kept this layout very simple and only embellished a little bit with the Hot Right Now sequins, chunky stars and a doily.

I used some papers from the Pink Paislee ‘Fancy Free’ collection. I really like the way the look with the sequins I used.

The title I made with Shimelle’s ‘Fitzgeral’ teal alpha and We R Memory Keepers ‘Honey I’m Home’ little sticker alpha’s.

I also used some Coloringz Spray Mist by Shimmerz Paints called ‘No Yolking’ and Mint Heidi Shine.
