Emoji Layout with Karla – I Love Your Sweet Face!

Hello friends!! Karla here today with an emoji layout using the awesome Free cutfiles on the blog and the Gotta Love Emoji sequin mix! Our theme this week is Emoji Love, so I definitely wanted to scrap these cute pics of my daughter playing dress up. I added some Cork Confetti Stars and Chunky Hearts to my page as well. If you love these hearts and stars as much as I do, you’re going to want to stock up! They are being discontinued to make room for fun new things coming and won’t be restocked.

I used some Shimelle Starshine papers, Pink Paislee Take Me Away ephemera and little metal clips from my stash and followed along with the sketch from the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine July Sketchy Challenge. I love cutting pieces from doilies and tucking them behind my photos! You can find similar ones in the SMS Store HERE.

Before I print my photos, I save them in the Project Life App as 3×4’s and try to add a bit of journaling on the cards in the app. I find it definitely helps me remember those little moments that I might otherwise forget. Then, I can slip them into pocket pages or make a scrapbook layout with them and my journaling is complete.

After I diecut this sentiment, I left the paper and the diecut letters on the mat and used my Distress Inks and Distress Oxides to sponge colour in an ombre effect before removing them. I stamped the Sweet sentiment from a Your Next Stamp cling stamp and fussy cut around it before gluing it down.
