Yesterday’s Fall catty blog hop was a blast! I had a great time seeing the new projects in action by some of my fellow MemoryWorks DT gals. That being said, I couldn’t help but to create more because there’s so much to see with these MME patterned papers!
I used American Crafts white card stock for my base and began layering with a 10×10″ piece of Adorbs. I brought in some pink card stock to boost up the pinks in the papers and frame my photos. I love the pink & green color combo and the fact that the green patterned paper supports my fun outdoorsy photo of Abby. This silly girl was so funny going through the sprinkler & playing with the grass this summer!
In the photo below, I used some the label stickers and fussy cut some of the patterned paper to get more arrows. I also splattered some Mr. Huey’s ink and sprinkled some Adorbs enamel dots and SpiegelMom Scraps Sequins!
Can you tell have a current obsession with enamel dots and sequins!?! I love the shine of the enamel dots and the bright sparkle of the sequins. They go fantastic with my girly pages. The sequins also come in a variety of colors including royal blue, aqua, gold, silver & black. Try them out! The black ones look really cool on Halloween projects as they’re glossy but not overbearing.
Here’s a close up of how I created my little flags. I just cut a thin strip of patterned paper and wrapped it around a Maya Road stick pin. I glued the paper around the pin with some tacky glue and then layered them along the sides of my layout using some foam adhesive to pop them up. Pretty simple & cute!
Thank you for spending your time with me again today. I hope I’ve inspired you to try some new techniques and products. You can download your own copy of the new Fall Memory Works Catalog by clicking on the picture in my right side bar. It will download as a PDF file.
