baby clothes and a layout

Happy Monday everyone!  I wanted to share one of the layouts from some creative time I scheduled this weekend.  I have about 1 WEEK left before this little baby arrives, so I just had to get one last day out of the house before my sleepless nights & diaper days begin again.

For this page about her, I used American Crafts Enchanted papers & journaling cards (Elizabeth Kartchner a.k.a. Dear Lizzy is one of my fav’s).  I created most of this layout the crop I attended, but added the finishing touches yesterday.

I used the We R Memory Keepers Sew Easy to stitch the loopy flower stems & add some details to the pocket on my page.  I also used Glossy Accents to secure the 2 sides and bottom of the pocket to my page.

Jillibean Soup Corrugated Butterflies, Chipboard & little jewels & heart buttons from my stash.

I added plain chipboard alphas over my canvas banner (both from Maya Road).
The twine is WRMK.

Here’s the journaling side to the cards in the page pocket.  I cut the little pennant shaped flags by hand for the little pull tabs.

Here are Abigail’s ultrasound pictures mounted onto the front of these cards.  I found some glossy chipboard photo corners in my stash that matched the AC papers!!  Yay! I gladly added those to the cards too.

I hope you’re using up your stash ….which naturally makes more room for new products on the market now! When you mix in the ‘old’ with the new, they blend in great and add some nice touches to your projects. So, what are you waiting for??? Dig in, dig out your stashed goodies and get scrappin’!

Thanks for stopping by again.
