Spotlight Sparkler: Lorimar Ortega

Hello Sparklers! Here’s my first layout as part of the Sparkler Spotlight for November. I really wanted to document my son looking all cute and proud with his Duplo plane; so glad I was able to snap this picture.

To make it, I used a white cardstock base, added clear gesso, and, once dry, I made 4 color areas (using Shimmerz: Lil’ Yellow School Bus, In Deep, Hermit the Frog) in yellow, green and blue. For extra pop of color, I also splattered some in red (Royal Red Shimmerz). For patterned papers and embellishments, I used Shimelle’s Field Trip collection.

To finish off the layout, I selected and added some sequins from #boymomlife, Colorful Burst, and Freezin’ Season for a tone-on-tone effect and for extra sparkle.
