Hello, again, SMS fans! It’s Sarah on the blog today with another Pocket Life spread. I am very excited to share another week with you! You will see Week 7 on National Scrapbook Day! I hope you are as excited for NSD as the Sparkler are! We have a lot of crafty fun coming your way this weekend and all month!
Here is my Pocket Life layout for today:
I used papers and stickers from Crate Paper Hello, Love collection along with a ton of goodies from the SMS shop.
My title card set the tone for my layout. I usually make it first and repeat elements from it across my spread. I cut a Large Glassine Bag and sewed down a 5×2 piece to ground my large wood veneer. I also got out my Heidi Swapp Minc machine for the first time. I love it so much that it had earned a permanent spot on top of my desk! Here, you can see that I ran a few snowflakes thru my Minc with gold, pink, teal and silver foils.
I used several 3×4 pictures on 4×6 cards and made embellishment clusters next to them. I sewed the edges of the 4×6 cards with my sewing machine using white thread. I also embossed several wood veneers for this project.
I made a 3×4 flip pocket filled with Love Beats Sequin Mix and sewed it shut with my sewing machine.
I took another small piece of Large Glassine Bag and sewed it onto this 4×6 picture. I glued a strand of Pink Felt-fetti Hearts on to it and added some stitching. I embellished with a few glitter hearts, sequins and enamel dots.
Here is another 3×4 picture on a 4×6 card. I added a White Paper Lace Doily and added embellishments and enamel dots. I also tucked a couple of those Minc snowflakes in there too!
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you will all join us this weekend for tons of scrappy fun for NSD! Be sure to check the SMS Instagram and Facebook group to keep up with all of the challenges and prizes!
