Fancy Free Layout with Sarah

Hello there, SMS fans!  It’ s Sarah on the blog today with an 8.5×11 layout using the new Fancy Free collection from Paige Evans and Pink Paislee.  Here it is:

Fancy Free

I started with an 8.5×11 piece of textured white card stock.  I layered a few pieces of the patterned paper from the collection with a 4.5×6.5 piece of Large Glassine Bag.  I used foam dots to make my photo stand out.  Amazingly, I did not use one piece of ephemera from the collection.  I wanted to challenge myself to only using the paper pad and goodies from the SMS shop.  I fussy cut a few flowers from the patterned paper and made two clusters.  I also cut a White Lace Paper Doily in half and tucked it behind my photo.

I used Cloudy Days Felties clouds and a wood cloud from Chic Tags to make a cluster.  I embellished with the new sequin mix in the shop that matches the Fancy Free collection.  I also ran a toner sheet thru my Minc using Mint and Pink foils and punched out a few hearts with a hand punch.

I used the Kaisercraft Summer Word Die Set to die cut the words “fun” and “relax”.  I used silver and teal glitter card stock similar to the colors that the Thickers from the Fancy Free collection come in.  I finished with some Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Peach and added some enamel dots.

I ran a label thru my Minc with Silver foil and tucked it in with a Medium Shipping Tag to add hidden journalling.  I stamped the date on with my Becky Higgins roller date stamper and called it done!

I hope you enjoyed my layout!  I wanted to show that you do not need every single piece of a collection to attain a beautiful look, all you need is some paper, your tools and a few goodies from the SMS shop!
