Snow Angel with Ali

Merry Christmas Eve! I am going to keep this brief, because I know everyone is probably very busy this time of year! But I wanted to share this layout and something super special that happened a couple weeks ago here in Texas! We got snow. Not just hard rain. Not sleet. Not wet stuff that turned to ice on the ground. Real.Life.Snow. My kids were so excited, we all had such a fun time playing in the snow. My son even made his very first snow angel!

Last week we scraplifted Missy Whidden, but this week I was just inspired by her style to get messy and stitchy…so that is what I did!

I used the awesome free snowflake cut files, and even used them as frames for my photos. I wanted to keep this layout mostly white, like the snow! But of course I had to add those sparkles of sequins! The Nice List mix went perfectly with my mixed media, and the cold vibes from this layout!

I hope you all have a happy holiday, we won’t be seeing more snow here in Texas, but if you have snow, be sure to get out there and throw a snowball for me!
