Happy Thursday everyone!! I’m here today with a follow up layout to yesterday’s Debutante blog share, featuring the Clique Kits April Kit!! I’ve been scrapping a lot of single photo layouts lately, which I love to do. It allows me the space and freedom to get really artsy with my scrapbooking. But, I also have a lot of pictures to scrapbook and don’t want them all in pocket pages either. Here’s my solution!
I print nearly all my photos in the 4×6″ size which works the best for me. I also don’t need to crop them because of how close up I take my photos. But there are times, especially when I’m outside with our girls, that things happen to fast for me to zoom in. Case in point, Abby climbing onto Hannah’s bike! Yikes! This girl has no fear!
To get all the photos I wanted onto one layout, I trimmed them down to various sizes of about 3″ by 3″ and 2.5″ by 4″. This allowed me to fit them onto one 12×12″ page with room for me to add some fun embellishments, such as Clique Kits exclusive cut files & flair, washi tape and sequins. Here are some close ups.
Pretty fun huh! I added a bunch of the Clique Kits exclusive sequins, flair and washi tapes which are available in the CK April School Store HERE. Often get asked how I figure out where to put my embellishments on my layouts. The easiest way is to cluster them together, varying the sizes and shapes. This adds some really fun and interesting accents for your eyes to look at.
And we can’t forget about adding die cuts!!! Lacey Gasper designed some amazing digital cut files for this kit, along with the flair badges! Utilizing these in your scrapbooking really helps you stretch your supplies and get so much more out of your Clique Kits monthly kit. Plus, once you have them you can cut them over and over again! They are available for purchase separately but going to our Digital shop in the Clique Kits School Store HERE.
Thank you for spending your time with me today! See you soon with more scrapbooking inspiration!
