A GLITZ-piration Mini Album

Jody 093

Happy Friday!!  I’m so glad my work week is d.o.n.e!!  Now, for some creative time and fun with our little girls today and tomorrow.  Recently I’ve fall in love with GLITZ DESIGN and the new kit club GOSSAMER BLUE.  Glitz has fabulous papers and embellies.  And for all my friends with boys, they have some fantastic lines that aren’t all girly fru-fru.  This month they’re having a guest designer contest so I thought I’d give it try!  I created this funky mini album using the Hello Friend line and some Glitz packaging as the base.  I cut each page a little bit smaller than the one below for a fun layered effect.  Then I added lots of layers and embellishments.  Here is the packaging I started with.  I thought is was perfect for a mini album base because the top of it folded over ~ a perfect binding!  Sorry the picture is a little small, it’s off my iPhone.

And now, here are the pages in the gallery I created below.  You can click on each picture to make it bigger, then use NEXT> and <PREVIOUS  to scroll through.  There are lots of little details on the pages like negative shapes, washi tapes, inks, Studio Calico Wood Veneers, Lawn Fawn wood veneers, a Simple Stories Documented Pocket, large glassine bag,  embossing, glimmer mist dyed seam binding, wood buttons, May Arts natural burlap string, doilies and pull out tags!  From the Glitz Design Hello Friend line ~ 6×6 paper pad, 12×12 papers, Cardstock Stickers, Whatnots and Epoxy Puffy Stickers.  The seam binding was dyed to match with Glimmer Mists.  I also used EK Success border punched throughtout the album.

Have a fantastic weekend and get some GLITZ on!!

  1. Jody we have a lot of similar tastes because I too love Glitz Designs and I joined Gossamer Blue about 3 months ago- so far the kits have been amazing! I felt a little guilty being a trader from the MWE kit. Do you also subscribe to Studio Calico? Your minis are so much fun. I can’t wait to see what you are going to do with the new Dear Lizzy line. 🙂
