Easy HaLloWeEn Home Decor!

Happy Halloween everyone! I’m back today for some fabulous and easy Halloween home decor. But first, for those who are Trick or Treating tonight, be safe & have a fabulous time! And, always, always, check that candy before you dive in for that sugar rush. My brave husband is taking all 5 of our girls out while I’m working! So, all of you please wish him a big gOoD LuCk!!

As you saw earlier this month, I had Express Kit duty. This kit was completely jam packed with some fabulous Halloween and Fall papers from My Minds Eye (a personal fav). The large kit included papers from their Blackbird and Mischievous collections, along with coordinating stamps and chipboard. The key to creating with these very different collections from My Minds Eye, was to keep the separate collections grouped together. Blackbird papers with Blackbird Stamps and Mischievous papers with Mischievous Chipboard. You all know I love to mix and match different manufactures and collections, but sometimes it just doesn’t work.

So, here’s what I created with the Mischievous papers and Chipboard, along with the lovely ribbon and trim and small silver bottle caps! I also added a couple Jenni Bowlin Halloween Bingo Cards from my stash.

I hung the tag from the handle of the 7 Gypsies Photo Tray, but also placed a pumpkin in the space behind it to play some peak-a-boo with our kids. It’s easy and fun to make these 7 Gypsy Photo Trays a little interactive!

I also layered some of the chipboard shapes over their coordinating card stock pieces. This is a great to add some dimension to your projects without becoming overwhelming. I added some Stickles to the chipboard hat and the photo corners (positioned as arrows) for some spooky sparkle.
