Here’s whats up for grabs on my blog!
We Are Memory Keepers Paper Kit~Precious Metal-Vintage Brass. 337 pieces total~ 12 patterned papers, 4 coordinating solids, 12×12 alpha sticker sheet and 12×12 die cut sheet.
Here are my layouts using My Minds Eye Dolled Up. Enjoy & happy hopping during our Memory Works Spring Fling Inspiration Overload Blog Hop!
Here’s my sassy little sunshine, Hannah last summer! I used some Mr. Huey’s in Bonny Blue, punched clouds (Fiskars), both hand cut & punched butterflies (Martha Stuart) and a quirky hand-cut sun for a fun whimsical layout. The bakers twine was attached using Glossy Accents and I inked the edges of my papers to add some dimension. I also added a new May Arts Ribbon in my Etsy Shop. It’s a pretty light blue chevron twill.
I absolutely LOVE this wood grain paper and was so happy there are more than one with different designs on them in the Dolled Up Theme Set! They are super versatile. I staggered the shape of the butterfly paper into a crooked plus shape. I don’t why, I just liked it 🙂
I added some ivory burlap string to this layout also. I love the texture it adds without being too bulky. It’s great for cards too!
I scream, YOU scream, WE ALL SCREAM for ice cream! That’s what I kept thinking while playing with this layout. I added some journaling spots using the sticker negative from the label stickers and some white acrylic paint. Do you see the upcycled packaging??? It’s the woodgrain cardboard backing from the MME Brads Packaging!
I also showed my love for brads & bakers twine on this layout. Brads are just for attaching things to your projects. I think not! Use them to create other embellishments and add more visual interest to your designs. I used brads and bakers twine to create funky ice cream cones to support my photos. Also, use the coordinating stamps to your papers. I stamped at the bottom left of this layout and used a small flower stamp as my bullet points in my list.
Here’s a quick card I created the the MME coordinating stamp set. Cards are perfect ways to use those scraps after creating layouts! I used the larger flower stamp to do some tone on tone stamping on the background blue woodgrain paper. Love that paper!
Ok, now that you’ve been all Dolled Up here, your next stop is Christine who got her scrap on with some new Dear Lizzy this Spring!
Don’t forget to leave comments on the blogs as you hop. The more comments you leave, the more chances you’ll have to win the Memory Works sponsored prize.
Also, follow my blog & leave a comment about where you’re from to be entered to win my prize.
Thank you for visiting today & have a wonderful time hopping along with my fellow Memory Works Design Team girls! They rock!
