Hello all! This month the Memory Works Design Team is crafting their hearts out to create 30 Cards in 30 Days! I hope you’re all gathering some festive inspiration during these first 7 days from the Memory Works Blog! 

Here’s one of my cards for this month.   My design is based on this sketch from Sketch Support.  

I used a Kraft card stock base, Teresa Collins Christmas Cottage 6×6 Pad, Prima Flowers, Close To My Heart craft buttons, a sentiment die cut from my stash, Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Vintage Photo, ivory sheer ribbon and Burlap String. I also added some ‘stitching’ using my Tim Holtz Distress Marker in Picket Fence.

Get our your embossing folders ladies!  I used a swirly design to add some umph to the brown patterned paper, as well as some Picket Fence stitching.  Another tip~ curl up the ends of your banners to lift them off your card or scrapbook page.  You’ll love the dimension it adds!

I also love combining my favorite Burlap String with this Ivory Sheer Ribbon, both from May Arts & in my Etsy Shop. 

Clear craft buttons from CTMH anyone??  I DO, I DO!  Use your Ranger Glossy Accents to create your own custom buttons by backing them with coordinating papers and top them with Stickles!

I hope you’ve gathered some inspiration and start your holiday crafting soon!  My big creative weekend happens over Deer Hunter’s open weeking here in Wisconsin.  My hubby heads up north and my BFF comes down to play (with our papers and embellies of course!)
