18: December Daily Mini Layout

Happy Friday!

I hope your holiday spirit has been extended through this weekend for NYE! I’m almost entirely done with my December Daily album.. just in time for my last-day-of-December goal.Sometimes I get so excited when the perfect photo opportunity arises, I forget to shoot in portrait and therefore have to get creative when I want to share landscape oriented pictures. I really love to create layouts in non-traditional sizes, and I’m excited to incorporate those together with traditional pocket pages in my Project Life album. Meanwhile, here’s an adorable picture of my incredibly difficult to photograph dog on a mixed media layout. I splattered my background with black acrylic paint and Shimmerz Dazzlers in I Lilac You. Once that dried, I layered some Pink Paislee Yuletide ephemera underneath my photo and added some sequins from the shop for some shine. I wanted to keep my pages consistent so I stitched the “18” from the themed cards for my album across the top. I inked a sentiment across the bottom, added some silver sequin stars, and then I was finished! So quick and easy. I love the beginning of a new year! I’m excited for where it takes me.
