What about Wednesday: Sequin Pocket Love!
Hello again and happy Hump Day!! I hope your week is going great so far! This is Megan and I am excited to be back again today with you to share another layout. For this one I wanted to make a layout with a sequin pocket in a different way that I haven’t tried yet. I’ve used glassine bags and I’ve also used foam and a sheet of plastic. Let’s jump right into my layout!!
I had so much fun making this layout!! I wanted to use a few different sequin mixes for the little tag pocket. I went with some of the new fall mixes, Autumn Joy and Falling Leaves. I also used A Day in the Woods. These 3 sequin mixes are so fun to use with fall photos!!
The sequin pocket was so easy to make! I grabbed one of the tags from the shop and some vellum I had on hand. I placed the sequins I wanted on the tag, put glue on all 4 sides of the vellum and then placed it on top of the tag. For a better idea, you can watch my process video below. I show you how I make it in the video.
I think this little cluster is my favorite on this layout, and it might be because of that adorable little clock!! I need to do research on what day these photos were taken and then I will stamp it on the label in this cluster.
I really love the cute cork stars you can find in the shop! They put the finishing touches on this smaller cluster in the top right corner.
Here’s another view of this cluster of labels and fun ephemera. You can also see the Shimmerz Texturez I used in Gold Mine on the edge of the layout, right next to the photo mat.
I also made a process video to go along with this layout. You can find it on my YouTube channel or below:
