Week 49 Project Life
Hello SpiegelMomScraps fans! Welcome to my first post on the SMS blog as a Sparklers Design Team member! I’m so excited to share my projects with you! My true love is Project Life and I used a lot of goodies from the shop to create Week 49 of 2015.
As you can see I loved using gold, aqua and pinks this Christmas. I used a few cards from the Seven Paper Felix collection, two papers from Basic Grey Juniper Berry, and two from Ashley G. for Ali Edwards December Daily.
I pulled a few Thickers from my stash. The glitter words are from Maggie Holmes Open Book called “Story” and the others are from Dear Lizzy Documentary called “Desktop.”
I really liked using the EZ-Runner Grand for this project. It was the first time I had used a larger adhesive gun! The adhesive is super sticky and easy to control.
I used one of the Amy Tan wood veneer frames to draw attention to the photo. I applied gold pigment ink to the frame and glued a Blizzard Mix sequin on to it and added a couple of star embellishments.
I die cut a 3.5 inch circle out of a Large Glassine Bag, filled it with some Blizzard Mix sequins, and sewed it shut with my sewing machine.
I layered a White Lace Paper Doily under a Medium Shipping Tag.
For my title card I used one White Lace Paper Doily and cut it into three pieces to mimic the circles on the paper.
I made a giant sequin page divider using an extra 8.5 x 11 page protector that I cut down to 3 inches wide. Then I filled it with some of the Blizzard Mix and sewed it shut with my sewing machine.
I die cut a 2.5 inch circle to seal in a coin that my youngest daughter got from Santa.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. Here are the items from the shop that used to create my project:
Check back every Monday to see a new project from me! And the last Monday of every month I will be posting a video on the SpiegelMomScraps Youtube channel!
