Week 17 Insert for Pocket Life with Sarah

Hello SMS fans! It’s Sarah on the blog again today with more Pocket Life!  Today I have a quick insert for Week 17.  Here it is:

It is a 6×12 insert that I played out flat to photograph, as PL layouts photograph better when they are not in the sleeves.  This insert documents a trip my mom took to North Carolina and my girls and I took care of her cats and ran her errands for her.

I used the new Jilibean Soup Healthy Hello collection and, of course, a bunch of goodies from the SMS shop.

I started with a gorgeous 4×6 picture of the Blue Ridge Mountains and added the “fun times’ die cut words from Kaisercraft.  The Kaisercraft dies go thru glitter card stock like a hot knife thru butter!  I added a star sticker, a cork star and I stamped the date right on the photo with my Staz-On ink in Black.

I had another 4×6 picture of a Moonshine distillery that I embellished with a Cloudy Days Felt Cloud and I added a hand punched glitter heart and cork heart.  I also added an enamel dot.

I used the gorgeous Believe In You Sequin Mix to add a shaker pocket.  The colors in the mix coordinate perfectly with the Jilibean Soup Healthy Hello Collection!

I put a 3×4 picture of Grandfather Mountain on a 4×6 card and layered a Medium White Shipping Tag with a kraft tag from Jilibean Soup and added a Cloudy Days Felt Cloud and a few hand punched stars and enamel dots.

For my last card I added a 3×4 picture of my oldest daughter outside the post office getting grandma’s mail to a 4×6 piece of patterned paper from Healthy Hello.  I added a Lace Paper Doily under the picture and embellished with hand punched glitter and cork stars.  I also added a Jilibean wood veneer word and wood spool.  I typed the journalling on my antique typewriter.
