Hi ladies and gents! Today I’m bringing to you a series of perfume bottle cards. I’ve been itching to make something like this but there doesn’t seem to be any perfume bottle stamps out there. So I’m going to make my own!
I started by searching for various perfume bottle images on Google. I replaced the brand names with sentiments and friends’ names. I used some special fonts to add character to the perfume bottles. Here are some of the fonts I used: MA Sexy, Papyrus and Noodle Script. Then I printed them out and fussy-cut them.
I kept the perfume bottles black and white and created colorful backgrounds to highlight them. All the backgrounds are created with acrylic paints using different techniques – paint splattering, smooching and regular painting. I was just playing by ear.
I added washi tape to ground the focal point of the card. Finally, I finished the cards with sequins from SpiegelMomScrapShopand daisy cabochons from craftsutopia (ETSY). The sequins complement the colored background very well. I love the effect! The daisy cabochon reminds me of Marc Jacobs so I added it to the perfume bottle and it looked really cute.
I hope you like these cards as much as I do. Please clickHEREif you’d like to see the process video. Have a wonderful day!
