Hello again SpiegelMom Scraps Fans! It’s Sarah bringing you my third guest designer project. As I am sure you can tell, I love Project Life! I try very hard to keep caught up and stay on top of all the latest trends and collections. Today I have a two page Project Life spread using the new Maggie Holmes Shine Collection. I also used a ton of goodies from the SpiegelMomScrapShop on Etsy!
Here is Week 45 of 2015 of my Project Life. I used the 6×6 paper pad, the 12×12 sticker sheet, die cuts, tassels and wood shapes, and the 12×12 cut apart sheet from the Shine Collection. I also used the glitter Thickers and teal enamel Thickers from the collection. As always, I used the busiest pattern in the pack to do my typed journaling on.
Here is my title card. I used a 4″ Gold Foil Doily and layered on tags and stickers. I used a Cloud Day Cork Cloud, Blue Felt-Fetti Hearts, Cork-Fetti Hearts, and enamel dots and pearls.
Here is a picture of me! We forget to add ourselves into our Project Life and scrapbooking too frequently! Document the documenter! I got a cool new pair of glasses and posed for a cheesy selfie in the backyard. I thought the eye chart was the perfect embellishment here! I layered a Cloudy Day Cork Cloud with a few pieces of ephemera and I also did the ombre effect on a large wood piece from the Shine collection.
I used some open space in a picture of my oldest daughter to make a pretty little cluster using a tag, ephemera, and another Cloudy Day Cork Cloud. On top of that I glued on a Blue Felt-Fetti Heart. I also used a giant enamel dot tucked behind the tag!
This is my favorite card in the spread. It is a 3×4 picture of me in a new pair jeans. I used a 4″ Gold Foil Doily, a few stickers, a Cork-Fetti Heart, and enamel dots. I did the ombre effect on the large wood piece again, this time using different colors from the collection. I used Dew Drop chalk inks from Versa Magic to do this effect.
Here is a 4×6 picture of my husband wrangling my kids up the stairs to bed. The picture is a bit blurry and poorly lit. But it is life. Don’t be afraid to use pictures like this in your own Project Life and scrapbooking. A cherished moment isn’t always a perfectly lit one! Here I layered a Cloudy Day Cork Cloud with ephemera, a tassel, a Blue Felt-Fetti Heart and a tiny word sticker.
And finally I used Gold Garland Confetti to make a shaker pocket. Just the perfect shade of gold to complement the new Maggie Holmes Shine collection!
Well that’s all from me today. I hope you are enjoying my Project Life spreads. Next week I think I will do something Chrsitmassy!! It seems like everyone is talking about December Daily and making Foundation Pages! See you next week!
