Papercrafting With Karla – Gift Bag, Shaker Tag and Card Set

Hi friends! Karla here today with a sweet Christmas gift set using lots of fun tools (our theme this month!) and the sequin mixes Hustle Bustle, Shabby Chic Christmas and Eye of The Tiger. This purse was so fun to make with one sheet of 12×12 patterned cardstock following this video. Of course the best part is decorating it with all the fun goodies 😉

I had so much fun with so many tools in my stash! The We R Memory Keepers 123 punch board and the Score Board made creating the cute purse so easy. I used the Fuse Tool to made the little tag into a shaker pocket with an extra pocket page and the Crop-O-Dile was perfect to add the little eyelet (remember those!!) to the top of my tags.

After I created the shaker pockets and added my sequins and glitter I connected them with a brass eyelet and then threaded some SMS black burlap string through the opening. I had a couple extra tags so I decided to make another one at the same time!

The gold doily (on sale at the SMS shop now!!) was the perfect layering piece behind the pretty flower created using Heartfelt Creations dies and coordinating stamps. Some Stickles around the edges of the flower and some beads in the center give it a little extra bling.

I already had some of the pretty Heartfelt Creations papers out, so I whipped up a quick and easy Christmas card just by layering and matting and adding a pretty gold bow and the beautiful sequins. I love the pop of gold those Eye of The Tigers sequins give!
