Make It Yours Monday~ Sweet

Sprinkles and Sparkles everywhere! It’s Shimelle, aka Glitter Girl, week at Spiegelmom Scraps!!! I have always loved her style and am so excited to show you my take on one of her layouts this week using some amazing sparkly and incrediable sequins from the shop!!! This is the layout I chose to take as my inspiration and knew the perfect photo as soon as I saw it!!!!

To begin my take, I chose a soft pink pattern paper. I cut down another pattern paper to create 3×4 cards and matted them with a solid pink cardstock. Using the same pink cardstock, I matted my photo and arranged them across the top 1/3 of my page. I added a doily to add some sweetness!!

I added two more 3×4 cards to the bottom of the page and used one of them as my journaling spot and the other to hold a sweet cupcake sticker!! I also added another cupcake and a row of pink heart felties, attaching with my tiny attacher.

I added my title and some more sweet as sugar embellishments and then, the sparkle, or sprinkles!!! I could not do a Shimelle layout without using one of the newest mixes, Glittler Girl!!! I also added some of the new Ferris Wheel to bring some teal to the sequin clusters! I love the pops of color these beautiful sequins added!!!

The finishing touch was some splatters of Shimmerz Glorious Day Vibez, Oh Say Can U Sea Colorings and Cotton Candy Spritz. I then stitched around the edge of my layout with some grey thread, and stitched on the cards and title as well! I Really REALLY like how this page turned out and hope I did some justice to Shimelle’s!!
