Make It Yours Monday~ So Lovely

Hello my scrappy friends and thanks for joining me for another Make It Yours Monday on the Spiegelmom Scraps blog!!! Today, I took on a challenge to recreate this beautiful Pinterest pin… ( I cant find the original pinner, but it’s so beautiful!)

I began my layout with a piece of floral patterned paper and mounted a piece of white American Crafts cardstock on top, after I roughed up the edges and inked them with spun sugar distress ink. I use some Shimmerz mists in Night Moves coloringz and Cotton Candy spritz to create my splatters in a diagonal. For my photo mats, I used some of my scraps from my scrap box and layered up some patterns that complimented each other. A piece of soft grey was used as the bottom layer to bring a bit of darker color and attention to the photo.  Some soft texture was added with the addition of a 8″ doily, found in the shop. Some banners and a punched heart were used to bring attention to the bottom of the photo and keep your eye moving around the page. 

My title went in the bottom right of the photo cluster and is done in white to keep the soft feel of the layout.

I added a few chipboard pieces to add more depth and height at the top right corner of my photo and sprinkled some light pink iridescent sequins from the Rockin Pink Ombre mix  as well as some shimmering clear Moning Dew Drops. A few tiny word stickers and I was done. I am in love with the soft, flowery feel of this page and I love how it compliments my photo perfectly!
