Make It Yours Monday- Snow Duck?

Hello, and Happy Monday! It’s Lisa, and Im here today with a fun Make it yours Monday layout! I have seen a few layouts lately with white space, and I always have a hard time leaving empty areas on my layout! I like to fill everything with pretty things!!! SOOO, today, I’m making white space mine!!

I started out with a piece of white American Crafts Cardstock, trimmed down to 11.5″ x 11.5″ Using the packaging technique, I added some Shimmerz Vibez in Cold as Ice and some Spritz in Bamboo Leaf to crate a wintry, snowy feel.

For the photo, I layered a piece of white tissue paper that I crumpled up first. It gives great texture! I used a great piece of blue and white glitter that resembled blowing winter wind as a horizontal layer and a piece of Amy Tangerine Happy Day paper for the vertical strip.

I used the new cut file, Flakey background, for the snowflakes that I scattered around the edge of my photo. I added some of the pretty light blue sequins to the center of the snowflakes and sprinkled the holographic snowflakes from the Cozy sequin mix from last months release in the snowflake clusters.  For the title, I used Thickers to spell out “Snow Duck?” under the photo and I added my journaling under the title, to the right.

To finish the layout, I mounted the layout onto the same Amy tangering paper I used for the vertical strip under the photo.
