Make It Yours Monday~ Jumping with Joy!

Happy Fall Y’all!!!! Thanks for joining me for another Make It Yours Monday here on the SpiegelMom Scraps blog! This months theme is Fall and I. LOVE. Fall. so I’m super excited!!

When I think of fall, the first thing that comes to mind is layers and leaves, so I combined the two for my layout today!  

The base of my page is a vanilla colored cardstock, trimmed down to 11 3/4 x 11 3/4. I splattered 3 different Shimmerz Vibez, Razzledazzle Berry, Sunset Strip & Quit Yer Wine- n .  Next, I chose 3 pattern papers from Echo Parks The Perfect Fall and layered them in thin strips at the top of my page. At the bottom, I went a little wider with the strips. 

My Photos are matted with 2 colors found in the pattern papers, a mustard and teal. I felt they really made the colors of the photos really stand out. The next element I added was the Natural Burlap string. I created the leaves using newest cut files in the shop, Lovely Leaves. After adding some details to them using embossing powder, I attached them to the string along the right side of the page using my tiny attacher and then placed the photos, nestling them into the leaves and each other. Extra leaves were scattered around the page, tucking some under the photos! 

Next, I added my title, Jumping with Joy, spreading it across the top and bottom of the photos using 2 different fonts. I pulled out the Aquarius sequin mix and just LOVE how well it complimented the fall feel of my layout! I sprinkled them around the page to add a pop of color, sparkle and an added texture.

The finishing touches were matting the entire layout on a dark brown cardstock and a doodle boarder. Adding some journaling under the photos and I was done! I love how rich, warm and layered this page feels!!!
