Make It Yours Monday~ I Love Your Face

Happy Monday everyone and Thanks SO much for joining me for another Make It Yours Monday! I have a special layout to share with you, because this week, we are celebrating all things EMOJI LOVE!!!

For my layout, I chose to use both the Gotta Love Emojis sequin mix as well as the new and FREE Love Your Face cut file in the shop! 

I began with a piece of black cardstock and mounted a trimmed down piece of white American Crafts cardstock on top.  I splattered some Shimmerz mists in Peachy Keen, Pink Stiletto, Night Moves and Chick-a-dee. When the splatters were dry, Dazzlerz in Lemon Drop Yellow, Pink Stilettos and Dreamscicle were spread on in rows, alternating colors. While they were drying, I matted my photo on some black and pink cardstock as well as an orange diagonal bag to bring in more orange from her shirt in the photo. 

Next, I turned to the cut file. I cut the top pieces of the face from black paper and the back piece in yellow. I cut acetate to fit the top, used foam tape to create a sequin well and picked all the yellows from the Gotta Love Emojis mix to fill it up! I LOVE the sparkly smiley face!

My title was also cut from the cut file, all in black cardstock.  All of the pieces were left black, except for the heart. I used the large pink sequins from the Emoji Mix and small flat pink sequins from the You Are My Sunshine mix to make it sparkle and shine! 

When the dazzlerz were dry, I adhered my photo and shaker smiley face with Tombow Mono, because it would hold a little better on the texture paste. I adhered a black square frame to showcase the photo and shaker and adhered my title to the bottom left.

To finish off my page, I took sequins from the Gotta Love Emoji’s mix and scattered them around the page, because there SO pretty!!!
