Kids Crafts With Sara Scraps
Hello Hello! Sara with you today with a fun tutorial. As summer winds to a close, it can sometimes be hard to come up with some last-minute activities to keep the kiddos occupied…you know, an activity that doesn’t include a screen. I have a fun little photo tutorial today to share with you an activity my son and his cousins loved this past weekend..
We started with some basic supplies – paint brushes, paper plates, a drop cloth, cardboard, or a yard you don’t mind getting paint on, some clean rocks…no special type, any ordinary rock will do…. and some good strong liquid glue…
Then we used some Acrtonez paint from the shop {hint, hint its on sale in the shop} and a collection of SMS sequins….
I laid down broadcloths and cardboard in my yard, filled a paper plate with each of the kids colors {they picked}, and a paint brush and they had a really fun time painting their rocks in the sunshine…they laughed, they talked about designs, ….they may of even broke out the hose a but while their rocks dried in the sun…you know, fun kid stuff…
After their rocks were dried, they each picked a sequin mix and added bling {or in the case of my nephew Ethan- eyes} to their rocks.
I see you…..
Rock painting is such a fun trend right now and the addition of sequins for some details were just the right touch!
I hope if you have little artists around your house this month, you’ll give this fun art project a try!
Have A Lovely Day!
