Glassine Bags & Wood Veneer Frames Banner
Good morning all!! Jody here today with a fun layout featuring 5 smaller photos, glassine bags & wood frames. It’s a big feat for me to get more than two photos on a 12×12″ layout but using smaller photos with the super cute Amy Tangerine wood veneer frames made it easy! I just trimmed down the 4×6″ photos around each of our girls then glued the photos right to the back of the frames. I especially love the black and white photos in the little wood frames ❤️
The other fun elements on this layout are the cute little glassine bag shaker pockets! They are very simple to create. All you need to do is add any amount of sequins, confetti, beads, glitter, punched paper shapes or anything else fun you can think of to the glassine bags. To seal these shaker pockets I ran them through my sewing machine while holding a paper heart in place as a cute finishing touch. I really love how they turned out. Another fun aspect of this layout is the paper strips along the top and bottom edges of the layout. These are the cute little strips you trim off your 12×12″ sheets. Sometimes I end up with a bunch of these and I forget to use them up. So I’m on a mission to use them! I added several of them under my shaker pockets and over the white paper doilies. You can see the paper stripes peaking through the translucent glassine bags. Here are a more close ups of the layout!
Thank you for spending your time with me today! Be sure to stop back tomorrow for another fabulous guest post from Ka!!
