A New Cut File | Crazy Girls with Jody

Hello my awesome creative friends!!! I’m super excited to be on the blog today sharing more free SMS Cut Files & this layout!  I started this WEEKS ago and finally finished it last weekend while I was supposed to be looking in the basement freezer for dinner🤣!!!  I have a feeling you can relate… someone?? Anyway, a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do sometimes, right?!   I just love how it turned out! 

To start this layout, I prepped the Dear Lizzy raindrop paper with some clear gesso. I knew I wasn’t going to use a lot of Shimmerz on this layout but I still wanted the ability to blend the colors and use the packaging technique. If I wouldn’t have used the clear gesso the spray would’ve of soaked right into the pattern paper, not giving me any flexibility to move the color around. Just a little tip for ya! The Shimmerz I used were Vibez Blue Jeans, Spritz Ruby & Coloringz Night Moves.

A while back I asked DT Sparkler Sheryl to design some cut files for the shop & I absolutely adore what she created!!! The first one I cut on my Silhouette Cameo was this super cute umbrella one. Those adorable little umbrellas are perfect for backing with patterned papers, making sequin shakers or leaving as is. I decided to make little sequin shakers and back them with patterned papers! Here are some close ups pics!
I’ve used a lot of products from my stash to create this, along with some new goodies too! The background paper is from Dear Lizzy for American Crafts and the super cute flair are The Crafty Pockets!! 

Now unlike DT Sparkler Mary, this girl doesn’t “hoard wood veneer like a banshee!” Really Mary lol! If you don’t have a clue what I’m talking about you’ll NEED to check out Mary’s video on the SMS YouTube!! Hilarious & a super awesome layout!! I digress… I used several little wood veneer geo tags from my stash along with some adorable little hearts. I also sprinkled a bunch of sequins from On Pointe!! Love this mix!!
