Tell your girls they can fly!
Yes, I actually do tell my daughters this. They can reach for the stars and accomplish anything they set their minds too! Some people tell me that’s silly and girls can never do some of the things boys can do. To them I say HA, think again and NEVER SAY NEVER! It’s all about building your child’s confidence while you’re teaching them to be humble, a good sport, a good friend & listener and to be a good person. I also teach my daughters to try new things, even if you don’t think you’ll like it. They’re often surprised by what they try, and actually like!
Now to celebrate this teaching moment, here’s a layout I created with my September Clique Kit, Study Abroad. The theme of this kit fit my photo nicely! I just love this photo of Abby soaring on the swings at our favorite park. I can still hear her yell, “Mama fly!” This was also the perfect photo for this month’s Sketchabilities challenge! I love all the white space in the sketch and how one square photo takes center stage!
And now my first Study Abroad Clique Kits layout!!
