Sticky Fun Summer, a Jen Schow Scraplift!

Hey! Ali here, super excited to share this layout with you guys. We are all scraplifting Jen Schow this week! How fun! Complete transparency, I listen to the Scrap Gals, and I have heard of Jen, but I hadn’t seen a lot of her layouts. But after this scraplift I am a huge fan, I (admittedly) stalked her Instagram for days trying to decide on a layout-there were so many fun ones to choose from! Ultimately I went with this awesome Halloween layout! For my layout I wanted to do a similar three word title, and I knew just the photos I wanted to use! Love these sticky little faces! After that I decided instead of stars (like in the original) I would use popsicles. Paper Issues has a great cut file with a cute little popsicle that fit perfectly with my theme. For some of the cut outs I used patterned paper. But for others I pulled out my trusty Fuse Tool! That’s right, I am using it again! Woohoo! I used the amazing Girly Glitter Sequin mix for my popsicles (and scattered about)! They also paired really nicely with the Echo Park Summer Dreams Collection (which is quite dreamy!).

The popsicles weren’t cutting it on their own (no pun intended) so I also added some simple suns. With a bit of layering and some stitching here and there I added my photos and boom! Finished! I love doing big cut file titles, the rest of the layout seems to create itself after that!
