Project Life, 15 Minutes at a Time
Hello all! I’m back today with a quick Project Life layout. These photos are from the first day of school, September 2, 2014. I didn’t take many photos because I was too busy holding back those proud Mama tears many of us shed on that first day back. Sniff, sniff. To create this layout I used Everyday Eclectic by Allison Kreft for Echo Park Paper. I just love the color combos in this line!
Many of you have read about my creative method of “15 minutes to scrap” which I definitely hold myself to doing almost daily. This is a great method that works for me and my crazy busy life. I worked on this layout in very short periods of time, no longer than 15-20 minutes. I started by cutting my papers to size and arranging them in the pockets along with my photos.
During my second short scrap session, I pulled out my embellishments consisting of the Everyday Eclectic stickers Chic Tags wood veneers, Studio Calico wood veneers, enamel dots, paper now from Michael’s Craft Store etc. During my last scrap session I began to stick things down and add the finishing touches like the wood veneers & enamel dots. After a total of about 45-55 minutes, this layout was done & in our 2014 scrapbook!!
Thanks so much for spending your time with me today!! I hope you’ll give this method a try! I’d love to hear from you about scrapping 15 minutes at a time!!
See you soon and remember …..
Do something creative today!
