MEMORY WORKS FALL BLOG HOP TODAY!
Welcome to your 3rd stop on the Memory Works Blog Hop!! You should have hopped over from Sheri Feypel’s blog and saw her amazing Simple Stories project!! I just love Sheri’s clean but stunning style!! If you are one of my scrappy followers, you can start from the beginning at the Memory Works Blog HERE. Now, let’s keep it rolling!!
I chose one of my favorite “go to” manufacturers, My Minds Eye. These papers and embellishments are from the Cut & Paste collection. Memory Works put together The Adorbs Theme Set from this collection and I absolutely love the color and pattern combo!! Here are the MME Adorbs papers I created with for this hop. I also used the Enamel Dots, Cuts Outs and Label Stickers.
Here’s my layout. I used a simple grid pattern to begin with. Then, I decorated each square of my grid with the coordinating embellishments and a few goodies from my stash. I love how this made each little 4×4″ square it’s own little scrapbook page in a way. I also rounded the outside corners of the four squads to pull them all together even though they are separate elements.
I added my favorite May Arts natural burlap string, SpiegelMom Scraps Sequins, a doily and Studio Calico Wood Veneers as additional accents on this page. Don’t you just love the little “You Go Girl” label sticker! This layout is pretty simple overall, but it still has fun little details that catch your eye.
I added a Crate Paper frame to this square from The Pier collection and layered some label stickers and enamel dots onto it. The Pier collection is available on line under the 2013 Trend Essentials.
I hope you’re feeling inspired so far!! Now that I have shared my layout with you here’s what you need to do next…
