Hee Haw Father’s Day!
Happy Father’s Day, my crafty friends! Typically I would be sharing a Fuse It Fun Day project with you, but this week I skipped the Fuse and went straight for the glue!
I made a layout all about my Father in law for our theme this month- 80’s and 90’s! This is a throw back to the Hee Haw show, anyone a fan? I really wanted my kids to know the stories their grandpa has to share-and he has SO many fun stories. For years he played with Roy Clark and was a member of the Hee Haw band. My husband has fond memories of watching his dad on TV, how cool is that?
I really wanted that silly donkey from the Hee Haw logo on this layout, which is actually where I spent the majority of my time. After that it was a few musical note die cuts and some fun layers behind the photos. This layout came together pretty quickly, but my favorite part are the new Black Tie Event sequins and cork Chevy Chevrons as accents. I dispersed the sequins throughout the music, as if they were notes themselves. If sequins could sing, I bet they would sound beautiful!! The Chevy Chevrons worked perfectly as corner accents and gave the layout more of the rustic feel I was going for!
I will get that Fuse back out next week, but I hope you enjoyed this Father’s Day layout and those fantastic new sequins! Pop by the store to grab some of your own!
