EcoScrapbooking eBook Launch Party
Welcome to SpiegelMom Scraps!, and your last EcoScrapbook Blog Hop stop!! I’m very honored to be a part of this historic scrapbooking event, the debut of Danielle’s vision coming to life!!I It’s her first eBook EcoScrapbooking: Crafty Ideas for Eco-Conscious Scrapbookers. Danielle has been working hard to create the amazing eBook for the crafting community. Her blog even features eco-friendly fashion!! Isn’t that awesome?! When it comes to being eco-conscious, Danielle is the go-to-gal! If your new to Danielle’s, but MUST be sure to go to her blog and follow her. Her ideas are eco-this word! (yeah, I know…cheesy lol).
I’m sharing one of the ways I stay Eco-friendly while scrapbooking. I USE MY PACKAGING!! Here are a couple examples of how. See where all those ribbons are tied on? It’s part of a cardboard backing to Prima Marketing flower packaging.
Here you see the bottom part of the same cardboard backing at the bottom half of the layout.
And the entire layout!
Here are a couple more peaks at how I use product packaging on my layouts. Check out that big white misted flower in the background! I used the negative from some chipboard flowers as stencils and spray over it with my Mr. Huey’s White Spray Ink. This is a fantastic way to use your packaging and create your own custom designed paper and background.
In this photo there are three recycled items shown. The first one is pink with white polka dots ~ AGAIN with the chipboard negatives! I don’t even remember what this negative is from I had it so long, but doesn’t it create another cool element on this page about our youngest daughter?! There’s also a piece of cream tulle tucked up under the patterned paper, as well as a regular old piece of corrugated cardboard! The tulle is from some doll clothes that had seen better days, so I saved some to use on…. something.
I hope you enjoyed how I stay Eco-friendly while scrapbooking! Now, for the eBook Danielle created just for YOU!! CLICK HERE to go right to Pressbooks online and read her fantastic eBook!
