Here today’s sketch people!! I’m having a blast with all these holiday cards! Remember, you can join in anytime and link your cards on the Memory Works Blog 30 Days, 30 Cards page.
There are a few layers on this card, starting with the small black and white print background. Then I chose two of the green patterns, polka dot and chevron, to use for my four squares which are popped up with some foam adhesive. I chose the final layer of patterned paper with Merry Christmas already preprinted onto it. No stamping here! I added a few of the Fancy Pants buttons and my gold sequins for some sparkle. My final layer is the red and white baker’s twine. I tied it over the top of the large chipboard button to make it look like it was tied through it! I put some tacky glue behind the bow to hold it in place.
Tip: When clustering some embellishments, vary the sizes and shapes for add more interest!
Thank you for stopping by today. See you soon with another holiday card for the Memory Works 30 Days, 30 Cards Event!
