Manta Selfies Layout with Katty Miranda

Hello friends! Katty here to share another 12×12 layout with you all. I am scrapbooking a selfie I took while on a weekend trip to the Island of Bimini. It was actually an island off of Bimini and there are tons of Manta Rays just swimming around. It was very cool!

I began my layout with a Prima scallop circle stencil and the Dazzlers in Sea U in the morning. I used the stencil on the top center of a White American Crafts cardstock and created a mirror image on the bottom portion of the page. I then took a circle punch and punched out different patterns from the Pink Paislee Paige Evans Take me away collection. I cut the circles in half and placed them inside my scallop circles.

I added a few sheets of patterned paper layered behind my photo. I also added vertical strips of one of the Pink 12×12 papers from the collection on either side of the page. I also added two coordinating wash tapes to either side. I used the blue and yellow sequins from the Hot Right Now Sequin Mix. I randomly placed them on top of the scallop half circles.

I added a few ephemera pieces from the Pinkfresh Studio Indigo Hills and used the Indigo Hills navy thickers to create part of my tittle. The rest of my tittle was created using pink letter stickers from the Basic Grey B-side collection.

I used one of the  6×6 papers from the Take me Away Collection which had different colored stripes and I cut out the stripes. I added them in between my scallop circles. I wanted to add some of the lovely Cloudy Days Felties. I clustered them in two areas and colored some of them using the Shimmerz Vibez in Blue Jeans.

I also added some ink splatters with the Blue Jeans Mist. I also added some turquoise thread behind my clouds and on the left side of my photo.
