Watercolor + Pink Sequins (Mini Layout)
Goooood morning!
Lately my projects have a theme..they’re all tiny and come together quickly. But most importantly, they allow me to really express my craftiness in the midst of crazy life. Definitely the #1 reason why I love mini albums so much.
I recently ordered “Night Moves” Coloringz from the shop.. a perfectly deep black Shimmerz mist- and knew I wanted to use it in contrast with something girly.
I cut down a piece of white textured cardstock and chose some watercolors that would contrast with the black and match the gorgeous “rockin’ pink ombre” sequin mix. I brushed some color on and once that dried I splattered the black around.
I matted my picture with patterned paper and vellum – Ada is the little black dog pictured along with my friend Katie. She is so ridiculously spoiled.. we went up to the mountains when there were a few inches on the ground and the temp was in single digits. Ada was not happy about walking around in the cold snow, so she picked her front paw up and began to limp HA. Wes and I know her tricks but Katie felt bad for her.
I adhered sequins all over the page – some with glue, some with mini staples. And spilled a few for good measure because they’re so pretty 😉
A few black and gold embellishments + stamping and journaling finish off this mini layout. Short on crafty time? Find some products you love and throw them together on a mini layout. You’ll love the results!
