Tuesday’s Talent | Tracey Fox
It’s been such a fun month playing with pretty sequins from the Spiegelmom Scraps shop! For my other three pages as a guest designer this month, I used sequins in a super controlled way, placing them in lines or in specific places on my scrapbook pages. But for this last layout, I used the Sparkle Ever After sequin set in the way I like best — just scattering them across the page to add a bunch of extra flair and panache to my design!
To create this page, I set out to document a comedy show I went to with my best friend using a photo of us outside the arena, my ticket stub, and the sketchy circle cut file from the FREE Book Lover cut files in the shop. After sizing the cut file to fill up nearly the whole page and cutting it out of black cardstock, I placed it on a sheet of patterned paper from the new Bright Side collection from Fancy Pants. I adhered my photo, a journaling card, and the ticket stub together onto the layout, added a bright red title around the curves of the cut file, and went ahead with embellishing the page with buttons from Jillibean soup, a few word stickers, and most importantly, SEQUINS.
I just adore the Sparkle Ever After set, with its black and white polka dot circles, black matte sequins, and irridescent sequins and stars.
