Hello again SpiegelMom Scraps fans! It’s Sarah again, on the blog, for my final project for November. As I said last week, I made something Christmassy! I geared up and got in the Christmas mood last Wednesday when I made my test Christmas card and shared it on Facebook and Instagram. Here is the card I made! I used cards, envelopes, and ephemera from the new Heidi Swapp line from Joann’s called Oh What Fun. I used a 4″ Gold Foil Doily and Gold Garland Confetti from SpiegelMom Scrap Shop. Heidi even “liked” it on Instagram and commented on it! Very exciting! Continuing in the Christmas spirit, I have three different Christmas projects to share with you today!First is a vellum goodie bag from Cosmo Cricket. I sealed the bag shut with a 4″ Gold Foil Doily. Then I made a 3×4 shaker pocket with an old pocket photo sheet protector and filled it with Poppin’ Pink Flurries, Gold Garland Confetti, and a few 1/4″ gold sequins from my stash. I added a couple of the soon-to-be-in-the-shop Birds Of A Feather white felt feathers. Then I layered on a gold foil snowflake, a Basic Grey Juniper Berry kraft tag, and the “believe” die cut from the Oh What Fun Heidi Swapp collection.
Here is a close up of the goodie bag for more detail. I also added a wood veneer snowflake on top from Michael’s and a few wood veneer stars from Studio Calico in the shaker pocket. Here is goodie bag number two! This time it is a kraft colored bag also from Cosmo Cricket. I embellished it in the same way as the first, making a 3×4 sequin pocket and piling on the ephemera. This time I used another soon-to-be-in-the-shop sequin mix called Christmas Wishes.
Here is a close up of the goodie bag. I also tucked a few wood veneer stars from Studio Calico in the shaker pocket. Such a fun way to use a sequin mix! The new Heidi Swapp collection is such a great match for the new sequin mixes in the shop!
My last item is a gift tag. I once again used the Heidi Swapp Oh What Fun collection. The foundation of the tag is a 4×6 sequin pocket that I made using the same technique as in the goodie bags. I filled it with the new Holiday Happiness mix which will be in the shop very soon! On top I added a gold foil frame from my stash. I also used a Queen & Co. chipboard star and punched a 2″ gold glitter circle for layering. I tucked in a beautiful Birds Of A Feather white felt feather and added tiny letter stickers from Crate Paper After Dark.
I have had so much fun this month creating projects for SpiegelMomScrapShop! A BIG thank you to Jody for asking me to be her guest designer for November! I had never done anything like this before and it has been an exciting leaning experience for me! I look forward to joining the big SpiegelMomScraps blog hop on December 1st! See you then!
