Fall Friday – Mini Album
Welcome, Fall!
Although it’s a freakish 85 degrees here in NC as I write this, I’m still gazing at the fall foliage from inside my air conditioned home and enjoying the beauty of it. Because many of the fall activities for this year have yet to come, I put together a short mini from 2015 – I just couldn’t wait!
For the front and back covers, I used two pieces of thick cardstock mod podged together, nothing too fancy. The title was made with some alphas from my stash (I love pairing white + gold). For this mini, I didn’t necessarily care that the pages were different sizes. I liked the eclectic feel. I wanted the first thing you saw when you opened the mini to be a gorgeous shaker pocket page. I paired some exclusive Autumn Joy sequins with some cork die cuts from the shop. *Remember that time I told you I’ve been using these sequins with everything and they last FOREVER? Visit here for another project using this mix. It’s perfectI like to include little journaling cards in my mini albums – Can you see that one peeking out from the bottom? These pictures of our sweet dogs are two of my very favorites. On projects I love to give the effect that clothespins are holding pictures in place. I love getting fancy Starbucks coffee in the Fall, and so I tucked one inside a glassine bag turned pocket envelope. I used a lot of products from the Basic Grey Barista line on this project. Tags are the perfect addition for adding interest to mini albums!
Our 2nd anniversary is November 1st. I can’t wait for 100 years worth of fall-inspired anniversary pictures with my sweet hubby. Hope you enjoyed this mini!
