Project Life Shaker Pockets
Happy Monday!
Today I wanted to share some simple ways to incorporate shaker pockets into pocket scrapbooking spreads. One of my favorite things to do is match products to sequin mixes – they make the perfect embellishments for any spread.
I love recording details of the decor in our home. The “Green Acres” mix in the shop pairs perfectly with the neutral tones of this page. I chose to layer the sequins over top of a filler card to create added dimension and confetti. Looking to mix up your next spread? Pick a card with a pretty design and enclose it with some coordinating sequins. I love the effect!
I used cards from the Project Life “Everyday Edition” core kit along with a few Shimelle “Little by Little” products.
My second shaker pocket project is a 4 x 12 insert I made. I love layering different sizes of project life page protectors in my albums for dimension.
Really how perfect is that “Pandora’s Ombre” sequin mix?!
I chose to use pocket cards with subtle patterns so the sequins would be emphasized. I also like how the embellishment tag in the bottom pocket helps balance out the heavy top.
I hope you were inspired to create some shaker pockets in a unique way! I think I would include a smaller insert with every spread if I had room.
