Easter Shaker Card with Katty Miranda
Hello Friends! Happy Easter! I hope you are all having a wonderful day! Today I am sharing a fun Easter Shaker card I created. I began by cutting down white cardstock which will be my card base to 6×6 inches. I also cut an additional piece of white cardstock to 6×6 inches. I ran that piece of cardstock through my Silhouette Cameo and cut out an oval in the center of the 6×6 cardstock. I then used a Teresa Collins diagonal stripe stencil with the beautiful Shimmerz Dazzlerz in Lemon Drop Yellow from the Spiegelmom Scraps Shop. That will be the front of my card. I used 2 pieces of patterned paper and cut two strips which will divide my shaker pockets in my oval, the idea is to make it look like an Easter Egg. I used a Studio 112 stamp and white embossing powder to stamp the sentiment “Some Bunny Loves You” on the 2 patterned paper strips.
I then used scotch foam mounting tape to raise the front of my card and create my shaker. I filled my shaker with the beautiful Spring Bloom Sequin Mix. I then added a pink bunny which I stamped on velum and 3 small Easter eggs which I stamped on white cardstock. The bunny and the Easter eggs are both from the same Studio 112 Stamp set. Here is my finished card. I love how bright and fun it is. I hope you like it too.
There is a process video on my You Tube channel if you’d like to watch: https://youtu.be/sTy0eeJS1IM
Thanks for spending some time with me today. Have a wonderful day! XOXO- Katty
