CAS Watercolor Cards
Hello! Amy (The Craft Bunny) here today to share two watercolor cards. They are both encouragement cards and super easy to make. Here is my first card.
I created a sky using a wash of Peerless watercolor in different shades of blue. I stamped the sentiment with black pigment ink and I did some doodling with a black pen. I finished the card with some Cloudy Days Felties. I used the medium-sized and small-sized clouds here and created a visual triangle. Clean and simple. Done!
The second card is a bit darker as I wanted a night sky for the Gold Confetti.
This time I used darker colors in blue. I sprinkled some salt on my panel and let it air dry. I used some fine salt I have at home so the effect wasn’t very obvious. For more dramatic effect, you can use kosher salt or sea salt. Then I gold heat embossed my sentiment. Finally, I used a paint brush to add Ranger Multi Medium Matte and sprinkled Gold Confetti and Gold Star Confetti all over. Tap off the excess and let dry.
I hope you like my cards! If you want the full supply list, head over to my blog.
On a completely different note, have you seen the sneak peeks of Spring Blooms and Pinky Pie mixes? Oh my…. They are screaming Spring to me! I just love these colors! What’s better is they are both in the shop now! Jody, just take my money!!
