Let’s Get Hoppin’
Welcome to your 5th stop on the Memory Works Birthday Blog Hop! You should have hopped over from Studio C with the uber talented Christy Musack. The Design Team has some awesome projects on this hop in honor of Memory Works turning 10 years old! You’ll see many of the newest Memory Works products on display, so let’s party it up!! Here’s the full line-up.
I created a 12 month birthday timeline for our little Abigail, a.k.a Abby, for her 1 year birthday party. She doesn’t turn 1 until November 14th, so for once I’ll be ahead of schedule! I used the new Dear Lizzy Neapolitan 6×6″ pad, Chipboard, Vellum, MME Dolled Up & Crate Paper Pretty Party Stickers {here and there}, glassine bags, natural burlap string, Jillibean Corrugated Butterflies & Banners, American Crafts Rosette Ribbon, misc chipboard numbers, Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type letters, May Arts Watermelon Sheer ribbon and WRMK Eyelets. Whew! Now that’s a supply list!
As you can see, the pictures stop at the 7 month banner… she’s only 7 months!
Now for some close-ups!
I used the Tim Holtz Rosette Die & an EK Success Border Punch on this Banner. Abby’s picture is inside the glassine bag on a pull out tag.
A little doily & spray ink from Mr. Huey goes a long was in adding some delicate texture. I also ran the clouds & banners through my Sizzix Texture Boutique for some fun dimensional polka dots.
I also ran the glassine bags through my Texture Boutique ~ polka dots, flowers and swirly patterns give it more girly charm & texture.
Here’s a fun silhouette of the hanging banner in our front picture window.
Thanks so much for stopping by & helping us party it up for Memory Works turning 10!
As a special thank you for joining us, I have a separate prize on my blog today. All you need to do is follow my blog in addition to leaving your comment for the Memory Works prize ~ that’s it!! One lucky follower will win a bunch of 4″ doilies, 3 embossed glassine bags, Thanks a Bunch Dear Lizzy stamp and 20 yds of Burlap String and Red washi tape with white hearts from my Etsy Shop.
I’ll draw a winner on Wednesday June 27th and post my winner here. Happy hopping.
