Now for my two page spread! I haven’t done a two page layout in like FOREVER and I was definitely missing them. This month I wanted to mix it up a little bit and do a traditional 12×12 on one side a Project Life style on the other side. I’m really happy with how it turned out and will probably continue to do more of these. Here is what it looks like side by side.
And here’s the right side, a 12×12 traditional layout. Besides my Punxsutawney Kit, I added a few of the cork embellishments from our sold out We Go Together Kit, which was fabulous!! I think cork is a great accent and works with so many papers and themes. I love the colors and tones in the Serendipity papers, especially when you mix the contrasting ones together and layers.
And here’s the Project Life side! I’m using one of the pages in the the Big Variety Pack, Style 3 for this side of my spread. As you can see, I created a fun sequin shaker pocket at the top right. To seal the top of that opening, I simply ran a thin line of glue at the top edge and allowed it to dry. The glue itself does dry clear, but I could still see the glue. Knowing myself, I’m probably the only one in my family who would notice it! Nonetheless, I added some washi tape from my stash along the top edge to cover it up.
Abby turned 3 last November and she’s getting to be such a little girl and less baby. Insert tear here! We have an absolute blast together on my days off when her sisters are in school. It’s just Mama & Abby, perfect!
I hope I’ve inspired you to give Project Life, or partial Project Life, a try! This feels like a good fit for me and I’ll be sharing more like this in the future!
